Thing is I am no artist and I am sure other will be able to use the potential to a fuller extent and I for one can't wait to see what is produced. It is going to take me a while to integrate this with Poser before I can generate a render that will allow me to use theses brushes and it will also take me a while to use them, particularly as a lot are pressure sensitive so I have to try and use a table again. The hair and fabric brushes look as though they could give some flowing dress effects and add some interest to the standard hair. Corel® AfterShot 3 and Corel AfterShot Pro 3 Additional space may be required for Microsoft. I have purchased quite a few packs such as Spaced out and Fantasy as they seem blend well with my render interests. It has a number of brush packs that can be added to it but the starter pack gives you some idea of what it can do. I fell across it when they had a sale on PaintShop Pro X9 and got this at a good price. Unless I have some breakthrough in understanding DarkTable, or I learn something else new to alter my trajectory, it looks like my mainstay workflow is going to be based on Rapid Photo Downloader, RawTherapee, and of course The GIMP (which I was already pretty familiar with from other graphical work).ParticalShop is by Corel and is a plug in for, Corel Painter, Photoshop and PaintShop Pro.
Not all of them are the best film simulations that I've ever seen, but they do generally have some recognizable resemblance to the film stocks they're named for. RawTherapee also has a free package of film simulations available that you can download, called HaldCLUT. However, it can also do automatic distortion correction (but not vignetting or CA) on raw files that have a camera-corrected embedded jpeg, which I think is pretty damn clever.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to make it apply them automatically! It's a manual search for the file with a file selector every time. All my lens profiles from Lightroom can work with it I just copied them over from the Mac. The interface is eccentric but possible to figure out with some poking around. RawTherapee seemed most intimidating at first glance, but on second look it's not that bad. AfterShot Pro 3 is feature-rich and offers more than I may ever use, but I appreciate that there's still room to grow once I master the basics. It's the little things that I miss: lens profiles for some of my favorite lenses, and the film simulation presets I'd collected over time for LR. Although AfterShot Pro 3 seems perfect for batch editing by Pros, I'm using it for for editing individual photos and am really pleased with it so far.
